Ok, so I have not had any luck with the 69 Camaro Pace Car convertible project, so
I have settled for a little more realistic project. This one is a 1972 Chevy K10 Pickup.
This truck will hopefully replace the Dodge, so I can stop catching all the
grief about not having a Chevrolet in my garage!

This is as she was delivered. |
He threw in a lot of goodies (And a little trash) |
Of course the first thing to come off was the bed. |
With the bed off, I was pleased to find that the
frame was in pretty good shape. There were some extra brackets welded on
that will need to come off. |
The front clip came off next. Amazingly, I only had to cut 1 bolt. |
This is the front section of the frame. Unfortunately
for me, the crossmember has been modified to fit a big block. This may pose a little problem. |
The firewall was also moidified to allow room for the big block. |
So far, this is about the worst rust I have found. |
Stop by, I can put everyone to work! |
Not sure what is going to happen with this. |
Finally got the cab off. |
This is whats left of the frame. |
Off to Fredericksburg Powder Coating. |
All blasted and coated! |
