Blinks
Partner Map Viewer - Blinks from TWACS (Via Daffron)
It seems like there is a lot of talks about the usefulness of blinks. The blinks TWACS are astored as a running counter in a file, created each day. This way of storing data makes it very cumbersome to easily expoprt and make something useful. I previously had a program to read te files, compare all the records with the previous day, and calculate the blinks. Very cumbersome to setup and a pain to fix if it ever gets out of synch.
NNEC, along with several other TWACS/Daffron users, have requested that blinks be stored in the CIS system for easy retrieval. Well, unfortunately, Daffron still stores the blinks as a counter, so we had to calculate the actual blink count for a day using SQL. This mapset shows the blinks, obtained by TWACS AMI system, and stored in the Daffron CIS, on our Partner Map Viewer.
The blue eyes indicate 1 or 2 blinks, and the red eyes indicate 3 or more blinks for that day.
